Horiba demonstrates new innovations at Pulse Live 2014
Horiba has taken the opportunity to showcase its latest point-of-care testing innovations at the Pulse Live event in London this week.
The company attended the conference at the Novotel Hammersmith London to meet with GPs and practice managers, offering demonstrations of innovations such as the Microsemi CRP point-of-care haematology analyser at its stand.
A compact and easy-to-use analyser that simultaneously provides a complete blood count and C-reactive protein assessment from just 18 microlitres of blood in four minutes, the device has been optimised to meet the needs of point-of-care haematology and clinical chemistry analysis professionals.
Company representatives also had a chance to speak to industry leaders, aiding their ongoing efforts to streamline clinical processes, thus providing valuable information at the point of care.
Mandy Campbell, medical product manager at Horiba, said: "We see Pulse Live 2014 as an ideal opportunity for our haematology and clinical chemistry testing specialists to meet GPs and practice managers and discuss their specific diagnostic testing needs."
This week, the company also announced a new version of its Quality Slide Program service specifically to meet new guidelines for evaluating and reporting on staff competency and training for blood cell identification, in line with ISO 15189.
