Horiba launches the Pentra C200

2nd February 2010

Horiba this week unveiled its latest product to the scientific community – the Pentra C200.

The compact chemistry analyser aims to provide laboratories with a cost-effective option for automation, ergonomics and quality of results all in one system.

Featuring the same reliable ISE electrodes as those found within the proven ABX Pentra 400, the product also combines the ABX Pentra reagent cassettes and internal barcode reader to allow for error-free reagent identification and checking.

The firm stated: “All of this, in addition to positive sample identification via an internal barcode reader, enables highly efficient ‘walk-away’ batch analyses and offers complete peace of mind for the operator.”

Meanwhile, earlier this week Horiba revealed that its base in Montpellier, France will be home to the closing ceremony of the NextGenOCF study.

Jonathan Knight, professor and head of the physics department at the University of Bath, will be one of the hosts of the event.
