Hospira launches improved TheraDoc clinical surveillance system

4th April 2011

Hospira has announced the release of a new and enhanced version of its TheraDoc clinical surveillance system, which incorporates a number of new features.

The device is an improved version of the established TheraDoc platform, which is designed to allow hospitals to monitor patient safety, meet quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements.

Among the new tools offered by the revised system are the enhanced TheraDoc Infection Control Assistant module, a user-friendly infection control dashboard, an improved electronic reporting system and revamped antimicrobial resistance detection systems.

According to Stanley Pestotnik, general manager for the TheraDoc range at Hospira, the user-friendly device allows doctors to act more quickly and improve care quality.

"The enhanced TheraDoc system reflects Hospira's commitment to delivering innovative patient safety surveillance and clinical-decision support solutions," he added.

Last month, the company made a number of contributions to international relief efforts following the earthquake and tsunami in Japan on March 11th 2011.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-800486227-ADNFCR
