Hotwire appoints new director and associate directors

Hotwire has announced a series of new appointments to its staff, including the recruitment of Matt Cross as its newest director.

Mr Cross joins the company from the tech PR agency AxiCom, where he spent eight years, and will report to Alex MacLaverty, managing director at Hotwire, reports Gorkana.

Meanwhile, Kate Hamilton – who has been with the company since 2007 and has worked on the accounts of several blue chip clients – has been promoted to the position of associate director as part of its IT and services practice.

The firm also announced the promotion of Nicola Koronka to the role of associate director of the financial services and tech practice.

Mr MacLaverty said: "Hiring talented people is really important to us, so too is allowing our team to flourish and grow. These internal promotions reflect the ambitious nature of our staff."

This comes after the agency introduced a new measurement framework last year that will allow it to move away from older advertising value equivalent-centric models.
