Hotwire appoints new global chief operating officer
Hotwire has announced the appointment of Alex MacLaverty to the new role of chief operating officer as it seeks to further reshuffle its leadership structure.
Ms MacLaverty has been with Hotwire since 2004 and currently employed as managing director for the agency's operations in the Europe, the Middle East and Africa region, as well as in Australia and New Zealand.
She will retain these responsibilities in addition to her new role as chief operating officer, which will see her become a key part of the global leadership team as the agency expands its offering, client base and operations.
The Enero-owned group is on track to register its biggest year in revenue terms in the year ending June 30th, and is planning to bring in additional senior talent to maintain this momentum.
Barbara Bates, the new chief executive officer of Hotwire, said: "Alex's strong vision for the business and proven leadership skills, combined with her experience and expertise in driving our performance above and beyond, will be critical in achieving our goals."
Ms Bates was promoted to the chief executive role in March, following the departure of her predecessor Brendon Craigie.
