Hotwire confirms departure of UK head of engagement
Hotwire has announced that its UK head of engagement John Brown will be leaving the business, with the transitioning of his responsibilities to commence in the coming days.
Mr Brown has confirmed his planned departure only days after he was promoted to group senior vice-president for strategy and innovation, which would have seen him relocating from London to New York, reports PRWeek.
Instead, he will go on gardening leave from November 10th and gradually shift his responsibilities over to other team members between now and January 19th 2018, when he officially leaves the company.
Mr Brown originally joined Hotwire from Speed in 2014 to oversee client demand for non-traditional services such as design, insight, analytics and branding. Following his departure, Hotwire will consider internal and external candidates as potential successors.
Hotwire chief executive officer Barbara Bates said: "John has made a huge impact on the business in so many ways and we'll miss his larger-than-life presence."
