Hotwire hired to promote online video news platform Newsflare
Hotwire has won a new contract with Newsflare, an online video news platform dedicated to user-generated video content.
The firm has been selected as Newsflare's UK integrated comms agency following a six-way competitive pitch, and has been tasked with leading its consumer and business-to-business communications activities in the UK, reports Gorkana.
Under the terms of the brief, Hotwire will work to position Newsflare's offering high-quality user-generated video content as an offering for production houses, brands, publishers and broadcasters, as well as uploaders.
The work will include a media relations campaign that will focus on raising Newsflare's profile through thought leadership, advocacy and research.
According to the client, Hotwire was selected for the brief based on its deep sector knowledge and strong creative ideas.
Kate Hamilton, director at Hotwire, said: "The team is thrilled to be working for Newsflare – it's a great opportunity for us to think big, use our network to its full potential and turn our minds to consumer and B2B audiences."
