HT Vista Develop App that Pairs with Cancer Screening Technology

HT Vista has created a data gathering application designed for use alongside their cancer identifying device. HT Vista is a company that produces a device utilizing thermal imaging and AI technology to screen for abnormal growths or lumps that can occur in the skin and underlying tissues of dogs.  

The software gives clinics the ability to send cytology and histopathology test results to aid in the training of the AI system and enhance its precision, aiming to elevate its initial sensitivity of 85% and negative predictive value of 97%.  

The medical device developer revealed that the main objective of the app was to satisfy demands from animal health clinics.  

HT Vista’s executive director, Liron Levy-Hirsch, stated,“The HT app has provided us with over 700 additional validated scans to analyse this year alone.” 

Levy-Hirsch went on to add, “By having a portal to upload lab results alongside the device’s results not only do we further improve the device, but we also increase confidence among our vets and nurses that the device is a reliable tool.”
