Hudson Sandler appoints new board director

Hudson Sandler has announced the appointment of the reputed comms specialist Rebecca Gudgeon as a board director.

Ms Gudgeon is one of the UK's most experienced specialists in crisis and issues management, reputation recovery and long-term corporate communications strategy, and joins the agency after 16 years with Grayling.

She has experience of providing board counsel on all elements of strategic communications across a range of industries, including financial services, public and third sectors, FMCG, construction, healthcare provision and the consumer sector.

In her most recent role at Grayling, she served as director of corporate reputation and issues management, working with clients such as the government of Kenya, Thai Union, Sir Robert McAlpine, the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, and Unilever.

It is expected that this appointment will help Hudson Sandler continue the recent development of its fast-growing strategic corporate communications practice.
