Huntsworth Health brand ApotheCom hires EU managing director

Huntsworth Health subsidiary ApotheCom has selected Effie Baoutis as the new managing director of its European operations.

Ms Baoutis joins the media agency having previously served as the director of medical education at Medicus International, while her previous work includes roles at Fleishman-Hillard and Elsevier, reports PRWeek.

In her new position at ApotheCom, she will take responsibility for all aspects of its European dealings and will be based at its office in London.

ApotheCom’s global chief executive officer David Dunn said that Ms Baoutis’ appointment will assist its efforts to work on an increasing number of global medical assignments, following its recent restructure.

He added: “Effie will be an added catalyst as we continue to build on our recent successes.”

In addition to its London office, ApotheCom operates from bases in the US and Australia, with its areas of business including medical education and writing, as well as patient-centric communications.
