Huntsworth Health launches merged Apothecom Medical Communications business

14th September 2015

Huntsworth Health has announced the formation of a new brand, Apothecom Medical Communications, through the merger of two of its agencies.

The group has integrated the medical communications and scientific services assets of the ApotheCom and ApotheCom ScopeMedical teams worldwide, while introducing a new global leadership structure, an enhanced digital strategy and new service offerings, reports PMLiVE.

It will operate offices in Philadelphia, San Francisco, San Diego, Shanghai, Singapore, Auckland, Marlow and London, with a Manhattan office scheduled to open later this year.

Elaine Ferguson will lead the management team, who was appointed as global chief executive officer earlier this year, with Leslie Taylor joining as a senior engagement specialist, focusing on the convergence of technology and problem-solving.

A statement from the company said: "By bringing together medical communications talent within a single global powerhouse, ApotheCom is uniquely able to create and deploy teams across many geographies, drawing on specialised skills and specific market expertise."

Huntsworth Health achieved double-digit growth during the first six months of 2015 and now works with 19 of the leading 20 pharma companies in the world.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801800388-ADNFCR
