Infill Healthcare Communication names new UK head

Infill Healthcare Communication has announced the appointment of Mark Watson as the new director of its UK branch.

The German agency recently rebranded from its previous name, Infill Kommunikation, as part of an effort to expand its global reach, with UK-based pharma marketers, product and brand leads among those it will be targeting, reports PMLiVE.

Mr Watson has been hired to support these efforts, with his work to focus on business development and marketing strategy, as well as contributing to project delivery as an account director across the company's portfolio.

He previously spent two years at PMGroup working for its Communique publication, and more recently served as advertising director at Haymarket Medical for MIMS and GP.

Ingo Barmsen, chief executive officer at Infill Healthcare Communication, said: "Mark's knowledge of the communication agency world as a whole, and his insights on the UK medical marketplace should stand us in good stead to meet our goals of growth in the European and Global healthcare communication arena."
