Integrated DNA Technologies to attend ASHG 2013
Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT) has announced that it will be attending the annual meeting of the American Society of Human Genetics (ASHG) in Boston from October 22nd to 26th 2013.
During the event, the company's director of product development Dr Scott Rose will be giving a presentation on the building of clinically relevant custom enrichment panels using IDT's xGen Lockdown probes.
This talk will provide attendees with the chance to learn how they can improve the performance of their targeted enrichment protocols for clinical research, while providing IDT with an ideal opportunity to demonstrate the benefits of its product range.
Its xGen Lockdown probes have been designed to offer unprecedented levels of flexibility in the creation and modification of custom panels, making them a useful alternative to array-synthesis platforms.
The firm has also developed xGen Universal Blocking Oligos, a new generation of proprietary modified blocking oligonucleotides for use in combination with libraries incorporating adaptors.
IDT's presence at the ASHG event comes after the firm also attended the MipTec 2013 industry conference in Switzerland last month.
