International Health Partners (IHP) takes part in the Big Give Christmas Challenge

24th November 2023

Every year, 400,000 children are diagnosed with cancer. But the chances of survival are a geographical lottery.

In low- and middle-income countries, fewer than 3 in 10 children with cancer are cured, compared to 8 in 10 in high-income countries like the UK. Yet there are cost-effective medicines to address the most treatable forms of cancer, but accessing treatment can be a challenge and even a barrier between cure or death.

This Christmas, International Health Partners (IHP), will be taking part in The Big Give Christmas Challenge, where donations made between 28th Nov-5th Dec, will be DOUBLED.

IHP supports people in disaster-hit and vulnerable communities to access the medicines they need, by sourcing and shipping high-quality essential medical supplies, and distributing them free to patients.

Through the campaign, IHP will be raising vital funds to support their child oncology programmes in Malawi and Cameroon, funding the provision of chemotherapy and other lifesaving treatments to give kids facing cancer a fighting chance this Christmas.

Will you support them, and give the gift of life this Christmas? One donation, twice the impact.

The Big Give Christmas Challenge will go live at midday on Tuesday 28th November here.

The Big Give Christmas Challenge will run from Tuesday 28th Nov – 5th December. All donation up to £35,000 will be matched.
