inVentiv Health appoints new European managing director for communications

inVentiv Health has announced the appointment of Julie Adrian as its new managing director for communications in Europe, overseeing operations in London, Munich, Frankfurt and Paris.

Ms Adrian previously served as US managing director at Chandler Chicco Agency, where she was credited with driving the growth of the company's public relations and integrated communications offerings.

In her new role, she will lead more than 300 European advertising, digital, PR, medical communications, research, market access and clinical trial recruitment professionals, bringing multiple disciplines together under a single leader.

Ms Adrian can boast more than 25 years of experience to the development and execution of healthcare comms programmes, with former employers including Cohn and Wolfe, FleishmanHillard and Hoechst Marion Roussel.

Her appointment coincides with the promotion of Joanne Wunder to the role of European managing director of the inVentiv Health Public Relations Group, which includes Biosector 2, Chamberlain Healthcare PR, Chandler Chicco Agency, and Haas and Health.
