Ipsen appoints new chief financial officer

17th October 2014

Ipsen has announced the appointment of Aymeric Le Chatelier as its executive vice-president and chief financial officer, a move that will also see him join the company's chairman and executive committees.

Mr Le Chatelier will take up the role on November 3rd 2014 and will bring extensive finance sector experience to the position. His career dates back to 1993, when he joined the audit firm Arthur Andersen, before taking on internal auditor roles at Lagardere and Vivendi.

Thereafter, he earned responsibilities in finance management positions in both France and the US with organisations such as Veolia Environnement and Arjowiggins, eventually becoming chief financial officer of the latter firm.

His most recent employer was the French electricity distribution network company ERDF, where he acted as finance director and as a member of the management board.

Marc de Garidel, chief executive officer of Ipsen, said: "We are very pleased to welcome Aymeric within Ipsen, and will benefit from his in-depth expertise within finance divisions in diverse industries and at an international level, notably in the US."

His appointment follows the departure of former chief financial officer Susheel Surpal, who will be leaving Ipsen at the end of the month.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801754953-ADNFCR
