Ipsen names new human resources head
Ipsen has announced the appointment of Dominique Brard as its new executive vice-president in charge of human resources, succeeding Etienne de Blois.
She will take up this new role on January 6th 2014 and will report directly to the company's deputy chief executive officer (CEO) Christel Bories. The appointment also sees her become part of the Ipsen executive committee.
Throughout her career, Ms Brard has held various positions of leadership and has acquired proven managerial experience through her work with companies such as Coopers and Lybrand, Promodes, Carrefour, Prodirest, Altedia, Nestle and Fnac.
Meanwhile, Mr de Blois will join Ipsen's specialty care commercial operations team as vice-president for Latin America, Spain and Portugal. He has been with the company for around two decades and previously led the firm's operations in Spain between 1995 and 2001.
The company is seeking to strengthen its leadership team as it enters a key phase of its developmental strategy, having named Ms Bories as deputy CEO earlier this year for this reason.
