Ivoclar Vivadent hails success of London dental expert symposium

Ivoclar Vivadent has hailed the success of its second International Expert Symposium, which it hosted in London on June 14th 2014.

Endorsed by the King's College London Dental Institute, the event saw world-renowned specialists discuss the latest materials and advanced clinical concepts in the field of dental esthetics to an audience of 750 delegates.

Topics for discussion included ethics in esthetics, new developments in research, general principles of ingot and shade selection, the benefits of all-ceramics and CAD/CAM technology, and the positive impact of Ivoclar Vivadent innovations such as the Tetric EvoCeram Bulk Fill layering technique and IPS e.max system.

The firm also hosted the Experts Circle, a special event for opinion leaders and guests that included lectures and a panel discussion on the increasing success of monolithic solutions in modern dentistry.

According to Ivoclar Vivadent, the symposium highlighted the company's commitment "to connect with clinicians and technicians through the continued dissemination of knowledge and education".

The firm is headquartered in Liechtenstein and ships products to around 120 countries worldwide. It experienced year-on-year revenue growth of 14 percent in 2013.
