Ivoclar Vivadent launches product range for temporary restorations

16th March 2010

Ivoclar Vivadent has launched a full range of products designed to offer dentists a comprehensive system for performing temporary restorations.

The Telio range is designed for use by dentists, CAD/CAM users and dental technicians and includes products for each step of the procedure.

These include Telio CS, a line of chairside applications such as self-curing temporary crown and bridge material and eugenol-free luting material, while Telio CAD is comprised of acrylate polymer blocks for crowns and implants.

In addition, the company has also introduced Telio Lab, a powder/liquid resin used for fabricating temporaries in a dental laboratory setting.

The firm said: “Due to the compatibility of all individual products for temporisation, the cooperation between dentist and dental technician is improved for all treatment steps.”

Last month, the company launched the second-generation version of the Programat P500, a furnace device designed to simplify the firing process.
