Ivoclar Vivadent names new chief production officer

9th June 2015

Ivoclar Vivadent has announced the appointment of Markus Heinz as its new chief production officer, effective as of July 1st 2015.

Mr Heinz has been with the company since 1985, taking over responsibility for global tooth production in 2002. Since 2014, he has also been responsible for the company's production site in Schaan, Liechtenstein.

He has been appointed as the successor to Wolfgang Vogrin, who has headed up Ivoclar Vivadent's production and logistics operations since 2002 and has now decided to retire from the company.

Mr Vogrin has been credited with the development of the company's ceramic production centre in the US, as well as the expansion of numerous other production sites worldwide.

Robert Ganley, chief executive officer of Ivoclar Vivadent, described Mr Heinz as a "proven production expert, manager and leader", while thanking the outgoing Mr Vogrin "for his contribution as manager to the rapid development of Ivoclar Vivadent on a global level".

The company experienced a strong increase in sales revenues for the 2014 business year and was able to create 166 new jobs, bringing the size of its worldwide workforce to more than 3,200.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801790548-ADNFCR
