Ivoclar Vivadent names new senior director

Ivoclar Vivadent has announced the appointment of Diego Gabathuler as a new senior director.

In his new role, Mr Gabathuler has assumed responsibility for Ivoclar Vivadent's operations in south and western Europe, the Near and Middle East, and Africa, working within a reorganised sales structure.

This will see him take direct responsibility for key markets such as  France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland and Greece. The company revamped its distribution structure for these regions earlier this year to achieve closer proximity to its customers and distribution partners.

Mr Gabathuler has previously held various key positions in marketing and sales roles across Europe and, more recently, in the US. He previously worked for Ivoclar Vivadent between 2002 and 2007 in the position of product manager.

His appointment comes as Ivoclar Vivadent seeks to capitalise on its recent strong sales momentum. In 2015, the company's revenues rose by 5.9 percent year over year in local currency terms, with organic growth seen across all key product groups.
