Ivoclar Vivadent names new UK managing director

Ivoclar Vivadent has announced the appointment of Dr Andrew Garland as its new managing director for the UK and Ireland.

Dr Garland assumed his new role on February 26th, and has already spent time at the company's headquarters in Schaan, Liechtenstein, as well as other Ivoclar Vivadent locations.

He joins the company after most recently serving as the UK managing director of the bespoke medical products manufacturer Lantor. He has a doctorate in materials chemistry, and will bring more than 20 years of sales and marketing knowledge to the role, as well as extensive experience in the field of specialist medical devices.

Dr Garland said: "In the coming months, an amazing portfolio of digital products will be available to revolutionise the way that dentists and technicians help their patients, and I am delighted to be joining such an innovative and renowned company."

He has been appointed as the successor to Darryl Muff, who left Ivoclar Vivadent after a 16-year stint with the company towards the end of last year.
