Ivoclar Vivadent showcases new Ivoclar Digital brand offering
Ivoclar Vivadent has announced the launch of Ivoclar Digital, its new portfolio of digital products and associated processes for dental laboratories and practices.
The new brand offering was showcased for the first time at the recent International Dental Show, and consists of a range of CAD/CAM products including materials, milling machines and support services.
Among the products in the Ivoclar Digital range are materials such as ZirCAD blocks and discs, the SR Vivodent CAD discs, the IvoBase CAD denture base material and the Viteo titanium base, as well as four digital milling and grinding units, to be introduced under the brand name PrograMill.
Meanwhile, the 3Shape scanner range has been expanded to include the new 3Shape E series, with a new support service called Service Plus launching.
Ivoclar Vivadent is also looking to further bolster its software functionalities and interfaces through the recent acquisition of Dental Softworks and the purchase of equity interest in the Swiss startup company Kapanu.
Ivoclar Vivadent chief executive officer Robert Ganley said: "We have accumulated significant knowhow in the field of digitally processed materials … This knowledge has gone into the development of milling and grinding units and support services that will allow dental professionals to improve their efficiency and performance."
