Ivoclar Vivadent survey shows high satisfaction with Fluor Protector S

Ivoclar Vivadent has reported the findings of a new customer survey showing the high customer satisfaction rates associated with its Fluor Protector S fluoridated varnish.

A total of 217 questionnaires were completed by dentists and practice team, who rated the varnish product's ability to offer enhanced protection against dental caries and tooth erosion.

More than three-quarters of those polled said they were generally or very satisfied with the properties of the varnish, with users recommending it for its targeted remineralisation of incipient lesions, protection against erosion, treatment of sensitive teeth and tooth necks, and caries prevention benefits.

More than 80 percent of the dentists and practice teams were also pleased with the speed and ease of the application procedure, while the good flow and wetting properties were also seen as key advantages.

The company said Fluor Protector S ensures that "difficult-to-reach risk areas such as fissures, interdental spaces, exposed cervicals, porous tooth surfaces and areas around brackets obtain the fluoride they require and receive enhanced protection".
