Ivoclar Vivadent’s Fluor Protector S receives professional endorsement

Ivoclar Vivadent has revealed results from a recent professional survey that demonstrates the proven benefits of its new protective fluoride varnish Fluor Protector S.

From October 2012 to July 2013, dentists from different countries were asked to test out the product, with data from 251 questionnaires being analysed. Fluor Protector S was shown to be regularly used for the fluoridation of multiple teeth, the entire dentition or single teeth.

A total of 85 percent of the dentists were satisfied with the properties and the easy handling of Fluor Protector S and 79 percent were satisfied with patients' acceptance of the varnish. 88 percent said they will use Fluor Protector S in their practices in future.

It was also revealed that the features of the Fluor Protector S dosing tube – including no clogging of the opening, no seeping, hygienic and convenient dispensing and precise dosing – impressed 90 percent of the dentists involved in the study.

This comes after Ivoclar Vivadent's universal self-curing luting composite Multilink Automix was awarded an excellent rating from the Dental Advisor earlier this month.
