Jackel International launches digital sensor monitor

8th December 2010

Jackel International has unveiled a new sensor pad monitor from its Tommee Tippee brand that features digital technology.

The Digital Movement and Sound Monitor is equipped with digital enhanced cordless technology (DECT) and a long-distance range of 300 metres, the company revealed.

Its sensor pad is designed to sit under a baby's cot mattress and will activate an alarm if no movement or sound has been detected after 20 seconds, while the handheld parent unit features an LCD display that shows the room temperature and a sound level indicator.

Tommee Tippee said the DECT monitor "works like a dream to give parents the ultimate peace of mind" when caring for young children.

"It's intuitively designed and is easy to set up and operate," the company added.

According to Jackel International, the Digital Movement and Sound Monitor will be available at branches of Argos, Mothercare and Boots from January 2011.

Another new Tommee Tippee product due to arrive in stores next month is the Closer to Nature Style Soother, which will replace the firm's discontinued Closer to Nature all-silicone Soft Soother.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-800279957-ADNFCR
