Johnson and Johnson names new head of hospital medical devices
Johnson and Johnson has announced the appointment of Sandra Peterson as the new leader of its hospital medical device business.
Ms Peterson will take on this responsibility on June 1st in addition to her existing role as group worldwide chair, succeeding Gary Pruden, the current worldwide chair for medical devices, who is retiring from the company.
In addition to the hospital medical device business, Ms Peterson will continue to oversee a broad portfolio of responsibilities, including the consumer and consumer medical device businesses, as well as the supply chain, IT, global services, health and wellness, global design and health technology functions.
Ms Peterson has had an extensive global career spanning numerous fields, having previously served as chief executive of Bayer's CropScience and Medical Care divisions in the past.
