Jurox’s upcoming CPD series receives AVA accreditation

13th September 2016

Jurox has announced that its Fearless Feline and Confident Canine Anaesthesia series of continuing professional development (CPD) events has been accredited by the Association of Veterinary Anaesthetists (AVA).

The meetings, which will take place across the country in late September and early October, will address key topics concerning anaesthesia in veterinary practice, with members of Jurox's AVA-qualified team of field-based veterinary surgeons giving the talks.

AVA accreditation means the course and training programmes have been deemed to meet the industry body's standards in terms of their effectiveness in educating veterinary professionals on anaesthesia best practice.

Each meeting will be split into two hour-long sessions, with the first session covering anaesthesia in geriatric cats and the second being an interactive, case-based session highlighting best practice anaesthesia for canines.

A meeting in Solihull on September 20th will kick off the programme, followed by dates in Wigan on the 22nd, Oakham on the 28th and Hamilton on the 29th. Further meetings in Reading on October 4th and Bath on October 6th complete the schedule.
