Just Health helps Meningitis Now win campaign award
Just Health has helped charity partner Meningitis Now to claim a prize for campaigning at the 2014 Charity Times Awards.
The national charity, which has been working with Just Health for four years, earned the campaigning team of the year prize at the event, which was attended by Meningitis Now's Sue Davie and Just Health head of public affairs Jon Spiers.
Meningitis Now is dedicated to funding research, raising awareness and providing support for people affected by meningitis. Earlier this year, its Beat It Now campaign played an instrumental role in securing the introduction of a new meningitis B vaccine in the UK.
This achievement is expected to bring tangible benefits for thousands of families across the country and comes after Just Health provided the charity with training on campaigning and public affairs, offering strategic advice and practical support.
A statement from the agency said: "When we started working with Sue Davie and her team, they had never campaigned on any issue, so it is wonderful to see them win this national award."
Just Health has experience of working with a wide variety of clients, including major companies such as AbbVie, Pfizer, GlaxoSmithKline, Roche, Sanofi, Shire and UCB.
