Kaizo hired by Orbotix for UK Sphero launch
Kaizo has been handed a brief to assist with PR work for the UK launch of Sphero, a motion-sensing robotic ball with multiple gaming applications.
The device has proven a popular consumer technology offering in the US and is designed for various uses, including interaction with tablet-based games, use as a motion-based controller or the creation of unique apps by users.
Sphero has won praise in the past from US president Barack Obama, who expressed enthusiasm for the product after watching a demonstration during a visit to Orbotix's headquarters in Colorado.
The device will be sold at MenKind and by a number of online retailers, with its price coming in at just under 100 pounds.
Rhodri Harries, managing director for Kaizo, said: "From gaming to encouraging kids to code the possibilities and applications are very far reaching. Expect this to be the top of wishlists for all generations for years to come."
Last month, Kaizo was hired by financial software provider BlackLine Systems to support its entry into the UK and European markets.
