Kaizo hired to help Funai launch Kodak-branded printer
Kaizo has been handed a new brief by consumer electronics manufacturer Funai, which is set to launch its first Kodak-branded printer in the UK.
The Kodak Verite printer is designed to save people up to 50 percent on ink costs and is aimed at home and small office users. It will initially be available in Tesco stores and will be marketed as a convenient low-cost option.
Kaizo will be tasked with raising the profile of the Kodak Verite printer, with its marketing approach targeting the consumer technology, money-saving and business audiences.
Funai manufactures and sells a wide variety of products, including LCD TVs, DVD and Blu-ray players and related peripherals, both under its own name and other brands in the global consumer electronics market.
Rhodri Harries, managing director of Kaizo, said: "We are delighted to be working with Funai who, alongside the Kodak brand, are another big-name addition to our roster of consumer technology clients."
Kaizo's consumer technology portfolio also includes brands such as Fitbit, Sphero, Sharp, House of Marley and Jam Audio.
