Kaizo wins European marketing brief for Sharp
Kaizo has won a European PR brief with Sharp Electronics as the technology firm seeks to reposition and revitalise its brand.
The agency will work with Sharp to articulate a new corporate strategy for Europe – which will see it move from being a country-led organisation to a continent-wide approach – while also assisting in the launches of several innovative products.
Covering European strategy and content development, the brief also encompasses local market campaigns in the UK, Germany, France, Spain, Benelux and the Nordics.
This will allow Sharp to develop a more consistent and unified corporate image, while also catering to individual markets on a case-by-case basis.
Dr Rhodri Harries of Kaizo said: "We see Sharp very much as a challenger brand today, so will be developing campaigns with this in mind. We are delighted to beat off stiff competition from global networks for this brief."
Earlier this month, the agency was shortlisted for a best consumer relations campaign prize at the CIPR Excellence Awards, as well as picking up two nominations for the Sabre Awards.
