Kazoo wins UK PR brief with GeoLotto

Kazoo has been hired to run UK press office activities for GeoLotto, a next-generation online lottery service that will launch in spring 2014.

The agency has been tasked with implementing pre-launch activity, including creating a guide to how winners will be publicised in the media, drafting press materials, identifying brand advocates and establishing social media channels for the brand, reports Gorkana.

It will also be running a reactive press office for GeoLotto for the remainder of 2013 as the company seeks to generate hype and publicity ahead of next spring.

The game involves players choosing squares of a Google Map of Britain for a chance to win substantial cash prizes, including one million pound jackpots.

Lydia Hoye, Kazoo's managing partner, said: "There is a massive creative PR opportunity that we can't wait to get stuck into and we're so excited to be part of a product that truly is a game-changer."
