Keeler launches Cryomatic Mk II cryo-surgery system

9th January 2014

Keeler has announced the launch of a new cryo-surgery system that is able to automatically configure itself for use.

The Cryomatic Mk II system features a new coupling system that allows the user to connect a disposable or reusable probe without the need for an adaptor. Its software automatically detects the type of probe in use and adjusts the unit accordingly.

It means the device can be ready to use in a matter of minutes, greatly simplifying cryo procedures. Additionally, the Cryomatic Mk II can be used with either carbon dioxide or nitrous oxide, with the gas pressure being automatically set.

Other beneficial features include its clear digital data readouts, footswitch-operated probe control, easy setup, automated back flush facility and particle filter for optimum probe performance and reliability.

This is the latest new product release from Keeler, a leading provider of diagnostic and magnification products for the optical and healthcare industries. It comes after the firm launched its D-KAT digital applanation tonometer in November 2013.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801680633-ADNFCR
