Ketchum director honoured with AMEC award

8th December 2010

Ketchum has revealed details of a prestigious accolade received by David Rockland, managing director of the firm's global research network.

Mr Rockland was presented with the inaugural services to industry award by the International Association for the Measurement and Evaluation of Communication (AMEC) in London last month.

He was selected for the prize in recognition of his achievements in developing the Barcelona Principles framework and launching AMEC's first international chapter in the US.

"Ketchum has always considered itself extremely fortunate to have a professional of David's calibre leading our research group," said chief executive Raymond Kotcher.

He added that the award was proof of Mr Rockland's "leadership position in the communications industry".

Meanwhile, AMEC chairman Mike Daniels said the Ketchum research chief had been honoured by the association for his "international mindset".

The AMEC Communication Effectiveness Awards took place in the capital on November 17th and featured a guest speech by PR and communications guru Lord Bell.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-800279205-ADNFCR
