Ketchum launches health brand evaluation tool

Ketchum, a global public relations firm, has unveiled its new research tool, which provides marketers with valuable consumer information.

Its Well-Connected Checkup product pinpoints the health and wellness characteristics of a brand, looking at information such as its deficits and assets, in addition to its strengths and weaknesses from a competitive viewpoint.

Leslie Schrader, senior vice-president and director of health and wellness practice at Ketchum, claimed that the new product will construct a "bridge" between the offerings of brands and the needs of consumers.

"Consumers are spending almost 20 percent of their monthly … budget on brands with health and wellness benefits," he said. "Understanding a brand's health and wellness proposition is vital to connecting with consumers."

Earlier in the year, Ketchum received the prestigious honour of being named Large Firm of the Year at PR News' annual Platinum PR Awards luncheon.
