Kimal chairman named honorary University of Bath professor

Kimal has announced that Duncan Eaton, the chairman of its board of directors, has been awarded the title of honorary professor by the senate of the University of Bath.

Mr Eaton is a well-respected UK healthcare veteran, enjoying a career spanning 40 years in NHS and civil service management roles, while acting as an advisor to several healthcare and public sector-related companies and organisations.

He has worked extensively with the university's school of management, making teaching contributions to the MBA and Executive Education courses, as well as offering a senior practitioner's perspective.

Moreover, he is the current executive advisor to the Associate Parliamentary Health Group, while his former roles include that of chief executive at the NHS Purchasing and Supply Agency and Bedfordshire Health Authority, and president of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply and the Healthcare Supply Association.
