Kruuse to distribute Coastline Global’s Kit4Cat in Europe

Kruuse is allying with US-based Coastline Global to act as the exclusive veterinary distributor for the patented hydrophobic sand product Kit4Cat in Europe.

The revolutionary biodegradable sand features a natural non-toxic urine-repelling coating, allowing urine samples to be easily collected with a pipette for use in urinalysis procedures.

Replacing the Medicat range of urine collection kits, the environmentally-friendly new product allows vets and pet owners to avoid subjecting the animal to more invasive procedures.

This business arrangement will allow Coastline Global to expand its global reach of its products, taking advantage of Kruuse's strong relationships with veterinary practices.

Andrew Groom, managing director at Kruuse UK, said: "This exciting agreement and product range further expands Kruuse's small animal product portfolio with its customers in Scandinavia, mainland Europe and the UK."

This comes after Kruuse broadened its product range earlier this year with the launch of Krutex, a new range of latex-free surgeons' gloves for animal health practitioners.
