Lab M celebrates successful uPREP brand launch
Lab M is celebrating following the recent introduction of uPREP Buffered Peptone Water (BPW), the first product in an important new brand portfolio.
The uPREP name is to be applied to all offerings in Lab M's emerging range of bagged, sterile dehydrated microbiological culture media that can be made ready to use simply by adding water.
Introduced earlier this month, the uPREP BPW product has been designed to reconstitute rapidly with no additional sterilisation needed and can be ready to dispense and use within minutes.
Lab M's marketing communications coordinator Chris Wolfenden and export sales manager Veronica Ponnuthurai were responsible for devising the uPREP name, with managing director Ian Morris offering them personal congratulations following the recent launch.
The company said: "uPREP uses Lab M's proven dehydrated culture media formulations and is designed primarily for high-throughput laboratories where speed, convenience, reliability and cost-effectiveness are high priorities, and where storage space is often at a premium."
uPREP BPW is supplied sterile in boxes of ten robust bags, each of which can be used to produce 20 litres of finished medium.
