Langland scoops record haul at PM Society Advertising Awards

Langland has hailed its record-breaking performance at the 2010 Pharmaceutical Marketing (PM) Society Advertising Awards, which took place at the end of last month.

The media agency scooped seven wins at the ceremony in London, as well as earning high commendations in 13 categories and standard commendations in a further three.

This represented the best-ever performance by a single company at the awards, beating the record set by Langland itself last year, with wins coming from across a broad range of media channels, brands and clients.

Philip Chin, the company's chief executive, said: "To have improved on our record-breaking tally of awards last year proves our agency has what it takes to consistently create work that leads the healthcare advertising sector."

In December 2010, Langland was named 39th in a ranking of the UK's Top 50 Advertising Agencies, as compiled by accountancy firm Kingston Smith.
