Langland wins Lions Health Agency of the Year prize

17th June 2014

Langland has emerged as one of the big winners at the inaugural Lions Health awards, walking away with the agency of the year prize.

The company was handed the prestigious accolade at the awards event in Cannes, where it also earned a total of one gold, two silver and one bronze awards for its work with various healthcare sector clients.

Its Sativex advertising campaign for Bayer HealthCare helped it to scoop its gold award, while its work with Idis earned silver and bronze gongs. Additionally, its campaigns for Roche, Abbott and Orion were shortlisted in a number of categories.

To claim the agency of the year prize, Langland was able to see off competition from Leo Burnett Tailormade from Brazil and Dentsu from Japan.

The Lions Health awards are a new global annual event designed to celebrate creative excellence in healthcare communications. More than 1,400 entries were seen by an expert judging panel, with UK-based agencies claiming the second-largest share of prizes.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801728768-ADNFCR
