Lewis reports record revenues for 2017
Lewis has announced its financial results for 2017, during which it achieved record-breaking revenues and a 23rd consecutive year of growth.
The agency's global revenue total came to $62 million (GBP 44.96 million), with profits of $8 million. This was driven by new account wins with consumer and technology brands such as Comcast, Ecovacs, Google, Jabra, Infosys, LG, McAfee, Porsche, VMware and Wix.com.
Highlights of the year included the commitment of an additional $4 million to expand Lewis' proposition in the consumer, corporate communications, financial services, biotechnology and automotive sectors, particularly in the US and China.
The firm also launched Lewis Expro, a new customised senior leadership communications consultancy built to capitalise on executive profiling. Further acquisition and organic expansion efforts are already planned for 2018.
Chris Lewis, chief executive officer and founder of the agency, said: "Despite the volatility of many global markets the past year, Lewis has invested early for 2018 and expects it to be another record year."
