Lilly and MDLinx create oncology journal data app

3rd June 2013

Lilly has allied with technology firm MDLinx to develop a searchable mobile application that provides reviews of the latest oncology-specific journal articles.

The MDLinx Oncology Articles app is available for the Google Android and Apple iOS operating systems and helps users keep up to date with dozens of newly published peer-reviewed, cancer-related articles.

Physician editors at MDLinx will be ranking, sorting and summarising oncology articles from more than 150 journals, with clinicians able to choose which publications to follow and filter by sub-specialty, as well as searching articles by keywords or tumour types.

Dr Richard Gaynor, vice-president of product development and medical affairs for Lilly Oncology, said: "This app offers users the latest updates in the oncology field without having to visit multiple online journal sites. It also allows oncologists to personalise how they get relevant clinical updates."

Last month, Lilly agreed to expand an ongoing alliance with Disney Publishing to create educational resources aimed at families affected by diabetes into new global territories.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801593405-ADNFCR
