Lilly named among top companies for female executives
Lilly has announced its inclusion in the National Association for Female Executives (NAFE) list of the top 50 companies for female executive for the fifth consecutive year.
The pharmaceuticals company was recognised for its achievements in promoting all aspects of women's achievement, including succession planning, gender pay parity, support programmes and work-life balance.
It comes after the organisation submitted an extensive application in order to be considered for the accolate, in which it answered more than 200 questions on female representation at all levels.
The application also tracked access and usage of policies relating to the advancement of women, as well as the training of managers in relation to the number of women who advance within the company.
Shaun Hawkins, the company's chief diversity officer, said: "It is vital to attract a diverse workforce that reflects our diverse business environment and we are confident that efforts to promote the professional growth and development of executive women."
