Lilly offers tips on how to stay healthy

Lilly has offered a number of tips on how to remain healthy when economic conditions are tough.

The company said that this can be a challenge for people and as such felt it necessary to provide some advice on how to remain fit and well, especially when taking the current turbulence in the financial markets into consideration.

Among the pieces of advice offered was a tip on how to eat well.

“Keep a food journal. Recording what you eat can help you identify trouble spots in your day and find empty calories that are slowing your weight-loss goals,” the firm recommended.

It also noted that a registered dietician will be able to make quick and easy-to-implement changes to eating habits in order to improve health.

Lilly also recommended that smokers should aim to kick their habit if they would like to feel better and also take some strain off their wallet.

According to the NHS 5 A DAY website, one portion of a person’s recommended daily intake of fruit or vegetables is around 80g.
