Link Technologies agrees new Japanese distribution deals

1st July 2015

Link Technologies has announced the appointment of Cosmo Bio and Shigematsu as its newest Japanese distribution partners.

Cosmo Bio represents more than 600 domestic and international manufacturers, listing over ten million products across numerous life science research fields. Shigematsu, meanwhile, can boast more than 50 years of experience serving the chemical reagent market.

They will work alongside Link's current Japanese partner Gene Design to strengthen the company's presence in this important market, while increasing customer access to its range of innovative reagents for oligo therapeutics and diagnostics.

Link has been aiming to reach customers via more than one channel, to increase choice and value for customers.

Dr David Ricketts, chief executive officer of Link Technologies, said: "These appointments broaden our reach and underline our ambition and focus to meet customers' needs on a global scale."

Based in Scotland, the firm's main markets are university and commercial research departments, oligonucleotide synthesis companies and larger contract manufacturing organisations.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801793129-ADNFCR
