Mast launches enhanced DiscMaster3 disc dispenser

Mast has announced the launch of its newest disc dispenser product, the DiscMaster3, which offers a wide variety of improvements over previous offerings.

Incorporating practicality enhancements and a smoother ergonomic design, the DiskMaster3 delivers up to six discs per dispensing cycle for added convenience, with a fully height-adjustable skirt accommodating a range of agar depths for consistent and accurate dispensing.

It is presented in an enhanced seal-tight canister containing new silica gel capsules with improved colour reactions, thereby enabling the device to be stored complete with customer-specific antibiotic disc panels, whilst maintaining the integrity of the discs.

Moreover, its automatic lock-off functionality indicates when the final disc has been dispensed from a cartridge, making it easier for users to know when to replenish their supply.

The manufacturer said the DiscMaster3 provides a "reliable and robust solution to dispensing Antibiotic Susceptibility Test, Combination and Identification discs within the MastDiscs range".

Mast also announced this week that it will be demonstrating a number of its newest products at the Medica 2013 conference in Dusseldorf from November 20th to 23rd.
