Mast to introduce new technology at Medica 2010

12th November 2010

Mast has announced plans to showcase a number of new life science innovations at the forthcoming Medica 2010 industry trade fair in Dusseldorf.

The firm will attend the show in order to give the first ever international preview of the Mast Uri System, its new device for conducting urine microbiology processes in a more streamlined way.

In addition, it will be demonstrating various additions and improvements to its range of products for the rapid detection of emerging pathogens, including extended spectrum beta-lactamases and MRSA.

The firm states that representatives from its UK, French and German divisions will all attend the event, where it will be one of around 4,000 exhibitors presenting various products and services.

It added that its new offerings will be of interest to clinical laboratories that are attempting to pursue improved cost efficiencies.

Last month, the company hailed the success of its recent showing at the Microbe 2010 conference in Sheffield, where it also demonstrated the Mast Uri Plus and GenoType CDiff test.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-800233139-ADNFCR
