Mawdsleys highlights progress on warehouse expansion plans

Mawdsleys has highlighted the ongoing progress being made on the construction of its brand new warehouse in Yorkshire.

The structure is now in place on the brand new 150,000 sq ft warehouse, which will significantly increase the storage facilities available to clients of Mawdsleys' third-party logistics subsidiary Mawdsleys Pre Wholesale (MPW).

When completed the warehouse will be fitted with cutting-edge air control technology and will be fully compliant to the standards of the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency.

Mawdsleys has already generated significant interest in MPW's services from existing clients and other pharmaceutical companies ahead of the opening of the new warehouse, which will be available for new business from the early part of 2018.

The company said the development of this facility will aid its efforts to continue "acting as an extension to our clients' businesses, offering seamless processes and reporting to help them manage their businesses efficiently".
