Mawdsleys launches new smartphone app for OTC offers

Mawdsleys has announced the launch of a new app for smart devices providing offers for over-the-counter (OTC) healthcare products.

The Mawdsleys Offers app will be available for iOS, Android and Windows devices and provides exclusive offers and retail support to customers, with deals updated on a weekly basis.

Offers on the leading seasonal pound lines will be available, while customers can also use the application to view advertisements of the products that are currently appearing on TV simply by clicking through on the product page.

Additionally, any televised price offers will be compared by the Mawdsleys Offers app against those offered by leading wholesalers, with the comparison displayed on screen for users to see the saving they are making.

Mawdsleys is the largest independent pharmaceutical wholesaler in the UK and has been operating since 1825, with growing international operations both within and beyond Europe.

Last month, the company announced a new distribution agreement with Neon Healthcare, which praised the firm for its flexible approach and commitment to good service.
